Dailies collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no servers, no tracking. Your photos, your videos, and the place, weather, time, and song printed on them all stay on the device. Nothing is ever sent to us, because we have nowhere to send it.
Who we are
Dailies is made by Escape Velocity Studio Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy covers the Dailies iPhone app and this page.
What we collect
Nothing. Dailies has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers. We do not collect, store, or transmit any information about you.
To print the moment onto each frame, the app uses a few parts of the phone. All of it stays on the device:

We never see any of it.
What we do not collect
None of the following are collected, stored, or transmitted by Dailies:
Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers · Location history · Device identifiers or fingerprints · Analytics or telemetry · Crash reports · Advertising identifiers · Contacts · Your photos or videos (they never leave the device on their own).
No analytics, no ads, no third parties
Dailies has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. No Google, no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no ad networks. There is no code in the app that reports back to anyone, because there are no servers to report to. Weather is fetched for your current conditions and nothing about you is sent along with the request.
Sending a Daily
When you send a frame out, you choose the recipient and Dailies hands it to Apple's standard share sheet. The image carries the context printed on it, plus your note if you add one, and it goes only where you send it. Dailies never posts, uploads, or shares anything on its own. Until you send one, everything stays on the device.
Face ID lock
You can lock the whole collection behind Face ID. Authentication is handled by iOS on the device — we never receive your Face ID data, and Apple does not share it with us.
Purchases
Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not process payments or see your billing details. Apple only tells us whether a purchase was made, not who made it.
Data retention
Everything lives on the device for as long as the app is installed. Delete the app and it's gone. We hold nothing, so there is nothing for us to keep, retrieve, or delete on our end.
Your rights
Because we collect no personal data, the usual data rights (access, correction, deletion) have nothing to act on. Your collection is yours, on your device, under your control. If you've emailed us and want that message deleted, just ask.
